I learned about eating raw foods back in 2001. At the time, my teachers were baking “green juice” in their Vitamin. They blended leafy greens with an apple and some lemon juice then strained it. It was NASTY tasting! About 8 years later they were making green smoothies, with pretty much the same ingredients. It still tasted NASTY. Fast forward to 2020. I got Katherine’s bundle, Smoothies for Weight Loss. NOW I understand why the early green drinks and smoothies tasted SO BAD. Katherine has a much higher percentage of fruit in her smoothies (or Thickies)! This higher amount of fruit covers any strong flavor of the leafy greens and makes the smoothie taste SWEET! I know I’ll be able to drink these everyday, because they taste SO GOOD! The idea of adding a filler is a good one. Now a smoothie (aka thickie) will actually keep you from getting hungry for hours. Adding a filler was a new idea for me. Katherine also has a recipe for boosting your immune system, which is a really good idea in this time of the coronavirus. There is just so much information packed into this ebook! I love all the suggestions or hacks on how to make your smoothies faster, how to store them, and how to freeze your own ingredients. With the information in this book, there’s no excuse NOT to have a smoothie anytime! Thank you, Katherine for an excellent book!
